Reblog: Sprucing up a Story with Sound Effects

 

Whether you’re reading to your own children or reading to a classroom, there are so many fun ways to make the stories come alive.  Over at SpanishPlans, one suggestion is to use recorded sound effects.  These would be particularly useful when teaching a second language.  Students who may not be following the story word for word, can pick up on these environmental cues to understand the story.  Check out the handy cheat sheet provided!
