Reblog: Good People Doing Good Things (in Peru)

Jill, over at jilldennison.com (Filosofa’s World) hosts a segment every week where she showcases regular people who are doing good in our world.  On Wednesday, last week her “Good People Doing Good Things” segment focused on Peruvian doctor Richard Pun-Chong and the work he’s doing in Lima to alleviate the distress of families seeking medical assistance for their loved ones.

The doctor started a non-profit organization, Inspira, that has provided free housing, meals and overall support for sick children and their families while they undergo treatment. The organization has helped more than 900 families who’ve come from all over Peru.
