Spanish Lesson 16: Christmas Greetings in Spanish

Hola mis amigos.

 

You already know how to wish someone Merry Christmas in Spanish…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………  !Feliz Navidad!

But perhaps you’d like to say a little more to your Spanish speaking friend or family member.  I’ve put together a short list of possible greetings you could use:

Here are a few simple but sweet expressions

2. Que lo pasen lindo.

Memories are the best presents.

 

4. Brindo por la paz, la alegría y la felicidad.

A toast to peace, joy and happiness.

 

 

Here are a few longer expressions that convey even more joyous sentiment

 

 

5. La familia y los amigos son los verdaderos regalos de Navidad.

Family and friends are the true gifts of Christmas.

 

6. Te deseamos mucha alegría y felicidad estas fiestas.
We wish you lots of joy and happiness this holiday season.

 

7. Con todo nuestro cariño, les deseamos que la magia de la Navidad los ilumine y los ayude a conseguir todos sus sueños.

With all our hearts, may the magic of Christmas illuminate your life and help you attain all your dreams.

And let’s not forget to ring in the new year with a simple ¡Feliz Año Nuevo!/ ¡Feliz Año! (Happy New Year/ Happy Year) or…

        You’re totally welcome!

        I feel kind of guilty getting so far ahead in my story. But it’s one of those stories that’s just really easy and fun to write. And I have so many parts that I’m just aching to write (especially Isellta finally giving the nae bi sha the smackdown it deserves. Sooo looking forward to that part! 😆 )
