Hola mis amigos. ¡Es viernes!
Welcome today’s Friday Canción. Today’s song is Para Que La Vida by Enrique Iglesias.
Okay I have a confession… I absolutely adore Enrique Iglesias. Lol. Don’t think it was much of a secret!!! Anyway, I couldn’t resist sharing another one of his musical renditions with you today. So please enjoy Para Que La Vida…

I know I’m not alone in the Enrique adoration camp. With the release of Para Que La Vida, in 2003, Enrique Iglesias became the first Latin singer to be played over 1,000,000 times on US radio.
Here are las letras with English translation.

Thank you for sharing this song! I love the chorus. It has the kind of melody that just wants and tries to get stuck in one’s head. 😀
It really does!!! I love it.
Can you explain how siendo amd dando are first person present tense forms of the verbs? Thank you.
Hi Becky, those words would be examples of present continuous tense rather than simple present tense.
